My Story

When I was 9 years old, my parents built a custom home. I was intrigued by every part of the process: the design work, the construction, the furnishing. I remember making many floorplan sketches in tandem with my parents’ plans. The house was built right behind our current home, and we kids were on site daily. I still am intrigued by how an idea can become a physical reality in which people live, raise families and share their spaces with others, and I love seeing people enjoy their new or improved home.

My family and I have remodeled three homes, and I understand the unique opportunities and challenges of renovating and additions—while living through it or off-site. Rarely can everything be updated all at once, so remodeling/additions are always an exercise in what now/what later.

Home is such an important place. There are few things in life that ground us and provide a constancy, refuge and relaxation zone like a home. It’s where we dream, plan, entertain and share our lives. I feel privileged to be able to help people create this place for their own.

I don’t have a particular “style” that I use. I’d much rather work with the style you’d like, and in the case of existing homes, honor and coordinate with the architecture of the home you have (unless you want to re-vamp, which can be fun and exciting too!).
